Kontur 2017 will be held in Clarion Hotel Gillets facilities. The hotel has accessible entryways, elevators and toilets on entrance level, on the conference room floor and in the hotel restaurant. There is a ramp leading up to the restaurant.
Should one be interested in a room accessible for limited mobility or disability, contact Gillet by phone 018-68 18 00 or e-mail email@example.com.
The con-committee will make sure that all larger conference rooms are equipped with microphones and speakers. We ask panellists and participants to make sure to use the available equipment for the sake of including everyone in the audience, particularly those hard of hearing and those sitting the furthest away from the stage. The largest conference room, Gillet, also has a loopset.
The first row in the audience is primarily reserved for those hard of hearing, with limited eye-sight or mobility, as their audience-participation could be vastly approved by accessing the near-stage area.
See the hotel’s website for information about parking.
The convention program will be handed out in printed form at registration, but will also be available online during the con, through the use of the platform Grenadine.
Should any questions or uncertainties come up, please contact the con-com (we’ll be wearing sashes), or the hotel employees. They will be sitting by the front desk, to the right of the hotel entrance, or in the conference floor reception, across from registration.
